Ethan

Registered Music Therapist

Ethan is a Registered Music Therapist who is passionate about supporting children and families through creative, meaningful musical experiences. He holds a Bachelor of Design in Architecture (USyd) and a Master of Creative Music Therapy with distinction (WSU), where he was awarded a place on the Dean’s Merit List in 2023.

Ethan has experience working with children and adults across a range of settings, including schools, private practice, aged care, and disability support services. He has a special interest in early intervention and supporting neurodivergent children to develop communication, emotional regulation, and social engagement through music.

Ethan’s approach is neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based. He works closely with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams to co-create individualised music therapy sessions that build on each child’s interests, preferences and developmental goals.

His main instruments include voice, piano, and guitar, and he also enjoys exploring cello, violin, and music technology. Ethan brings warmth, creativity and curiosity to each session and loves seeing the joy and confidence that music can inspire.

When he’s not at work, Ethan enjoys playing sports, watching movies, and playing board games with his friends.
